LEADERSHIP

The Chancellor and Cabinet guide the direction of Berkshire University and oversee daily operations. The Chancellor is backed by a 13-member Board of Trustees, which includes civic and business leaders, as well as individuals with extensive educational experience. Completing our esteemed leadership team is the president of the Student Body, who serves as an ex-officio member to represent the students' perspectives.

Berkshire University was founded with a vision of making higher education more accessible, even if you are a working adult or have a full-time commitment to work or family. With diverse experience, we continue to concentrate on meeting the requirements of adults who wish to pursue education. Our management identified the features of working adults are different than the 18-23-year-old college students through areas such as learner needs to know, self-concept, experience, readiness to learn, alignment to learning, and motivation. These features influence our methodology focusing on real-life experiential learning rather than being content driven.
