Career opportunities in this industry have as much range as Mariah Carey’s voice and include sports and entertainment marketing, sales promotion management, retail services, public relations, strategy development, research and analysis, event management services, hospitality, food and beverage management, spokesperson relations, business negotiations, sales and incentives, and advertising production coordination.

Education in Action
- You will get down to business on day one with your Introduction to Sport and Entertainment class.
- Aside from a wide range of ESPM classes, you will be required to complete a 400-hour internship and at least one practicum. Before you groan at the word “required,” consider the fact that past internships have included gigs with professional sports teams, semi-pro and pro sports teams, record labels, music festivals, and more.
- Students are also involved in our Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management Association (ESPMA). This gives you hands-on experience in planning campus and community events throughout the year—stuff you can’t do within the walls of a classroom.
- You will have many opportunities to listen to and network with professionals in the industry including alumni whom we have handcrafted to achieve greatness.
- Travel to major sport and entertainment locations around the world. Study tours in the United States and Europe allow you to visit with professionals, engage in the culture, and get up close and personal with this exciting industry.
